New Beginnings

So I am finally taking the step into the world of blogging. Having quietly followed a number of beautiful blogs over the years I now seek to put my own thoughts, dreams and challenges out into the greater blogging community.


A few years ago our family decided to move from the peninsula with dreams of creating our own sustainable corner of the world. More specifically, a 5 acre patch of former farming land. We fell in love with the place instantly and its surrounding mountains. And so very, very, slowly we have been making plans to build our dream home, create a little farm and just living our life in between.

 So moving forward we packed up our belongings and almost 2 years later moved into our shed. I have to say it’s been a satisfying adventure so far. All in all it has made us appreciate what is important and what is superfluous.

 Determined to start building our home this year my hope for this blog is it will inspire me to keep moving forward, allow me to share our adventures and hopefully create a wonderful kinship within the blogging community.

 I look forward to the possibilities which lay ahead.
